Sången ”Den tjugoandra juni, exakt klockan fyra (på eftermiddagen)” blev enormt populär när det tysk-sovjetiska kriget bröt ut runt 1941. Texten skrevs av poeten Boris Kovynev till Jerzy Petersburskis populära vals ”Den blå näsduken” och spreds snabbt över hela landet.

Drygt 80 år senare, den 24 februari 2022, upprepades textens handling igen och låten fick ny aktualitet. Den inledande textraden byttes ut till: ”Den tjugofjärde februari, exakt klockan fyra (på morgonen)”. Här är de två första verserna av visans originaltext.

bombades Kiev, de meddelade oss att
kriget hade börjat.

The song ”The twenty-second of June, precisely at four o’clock (in the afternoon)” became hugely popular around 1941, when the German-Soviet war broke out. The lyrics were written by the poet Boris Kovynev to Jerzy Petersburski’s popular waltz ”The Blue Handkerchief”. It quickly spread throughout the country.

Just over 80 years later, on February 24, 2022, the story in the text was repeated once again and subsequently the song gained a new relevance. The opening line was now changed to: ”The twenty-fourth of February, precisely at four o’clock (in the morning)”. Here are the first two verses of the song’s original text.
